Company as first Marketing Director

NEWS / 18 FEBRUARY 2025

The Boutique Workplace Company has appointed Adam Nickson as its first-ever Marketing Director, marking a significant step in the company’s ambitious expansion across the UK. The flexible workspace provider, which now boasts over 40 locations nationwide, is positioning itself as the “go-to home” for SME businesses seeking a boutique office experience. Here’s what to know about Boutique’s brand new appointment.

The appointment of Adam Nickson signals a new era for The Boutique Workplace Company, as Adam takes the helm of its marketing strategy with a mission to refine its brand identity and reinforce its status as a leading provider of curated workspaces in prime locations across London and beyond.

Adam's arrival aptly coincides with a period of rapid growth for the flex operator, which recently secured a 15-year lease for 1–3 Frederick’s Place, a historic Grade II-listed building in Bank. Additionally, Boutique has expanded into Scotland with the acquisition of 9 George Square in Glasgow, alongside three other new openings in 2024.

A seasoned marketing strategist (with 25 years under his belt), Adam is set to elevate Boutique’s brand positioning. His impressive track record includes spearheading the brand merger of The Office Group and Fora, leading UK marketing communications for Renault Group, and holding senior roles at Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, and Dyson. His early career in London’s top advertising agencies further cements his expertise in brand development.

“I’m joining Boutique at a pivotal moment for the brand. I’ve always relished joining businesses and brands where there’s great potential for growth or brand re-development. Boutique is now a major player in the market, has a really strong core team and positive values at heart,” said Adam Nickson, the company’s newly appointed Marketing Director.

“The senior leadership team has a clear, unified vision, and their desire for growth is inspiring. The product is already fantastic, making the marketing job clear. I look forward to getting cracking.”

The Boutique Workplace Company has recently been recognised as one of London’s top five flexible workspace providers by location count, according to a 2024 market report by Spaces To Places. Indeed, the company has expanded rapidly, opening 13 new locations in the past four years, totalling 220,000 sq. ft. As global corporates push for office returns, the demand for premium, flexible workspaces continues to rise, and Boutique is well-positioned to lead the charge.

Daniel Wheble, CEO of The Boutique Workplace Company, expressed enthusiasm for Adam's arrival, stating:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Adam to the team as our new Marketing Director. His depth of experience, industry knowledge, and strategic vision will be instrumental in taking Boutique’s brand to the next level. For over 15 years, we’ve built something special, and now, with Adam on board, we have the opportunity to truly refine our place in the market, drive growth, and create even more opportunities. I’m really looking forward to working with him and seeing the impact he will make.”

As The Boutique Workplace Company continues its impressive trajectory, Adam’s leadership in marketing is set to sharpen its brand identity, ensuring it remains the premier choice for SMEs seeking a sophisticated, boutique client experience.
