Beyond bolsters presence in Europe with
Berlin debut and third Amsterdam site

NEWS / 3 FEBRUARY 2025

beyond is taking Europe by storm with the simultaneous launch of two brand-new workspaces in two different countries (yes, on the very same day). This milestone marks infinitSpace’s first foray into Germany, accelerating its presence across four countries and bringing its total number of workspaces to seven.

Today, beyond has pulled off a major first in its three-year journey with the simulatenous launch of ‘beyond Gouden Bocht’ in Amsterdam and 'beyond Quartier Heidestrasse’ in Berlin. These two additions expand the beyond brand to five prestigious locations, with three in London, three in Amsterdam, and now, a highly anticipated first in Berlin.

Wybo Wijnbergen, CEO and Co-founder of infinitSpace, eagerly commented on the double opening: “We are absolutely delighted to open the doors of both these incredible workspaces to members. It marks another big chapter for infinitSpace and our beyond brand, and we’re confident that businesses are going to love working from these new spaces.”

Nestled in Berlin’s innovative urban district, Europacity, lies beyond Quartier Heidestrasse. Housed in a sleek, modern six-story building in the heart of the Mitte borough, this flex hotspot spans 4,500 square meters and offers a whopping 700 workstations. True to the beyond brand, the workspace is brimming with all the essentials, and more - with a rooftop bar boasting incredible views of the Berlin skyline and a buzzy café for members to unwind.

This workspace is as central as it gets - just a short 5-minute walk from Berlin’s Central Station. Plus, surrounded by a blend of lifestyle perks, including a mix of shops, galleries, and cafés along the Berlin Spandau canal, it’s a locus where work, living, and leisure effortlessly come together.

Meanwhile, 356 miles northwest of Berlin, sits beyond's third Dutch gem: Gouden Bocht, located in Amsterdam’s iconic Canal District. Occupying three floors of Herengracht 471, a historic gem dating back to 1666, this space spans nearly 1,000 square meters. With a mix of coworking spaces, private offices, and meeting rooms, beyond has secured yet another prime location, in one of the city’s most sought-after areas.

The opening of beyond's second Amsterdam site signals the start of an exciting new partnership with Nuveen Real Estate, a global investment giant managing $147 billion in assets. This collaboration, formalised through a management agreement in Q3 2024, has no doubt paved the way for a dynamic and strategic alliance.

Commenting on the significance of the location and collaboration, Wybo announced: “Herengracht is one of Amsterdam’s most iconic and desirable locations, and partnering with an internationally renowned institution like Nuveen Real Estate to bring a beyond workspace to this historic building is huge for us".

He added, "We cannot wait to see both locations go from strength to strength in the months to come, and to forge more partnerships with landlords around the world so together we can launch more amazing flexible workspaces.”

As expected, infinitSpace has outfitted each new location with top-tier, premium design. Beyond the aesthetics, both workspaces are packed with cutting-edge tech, including a workspace management app that seamlessly connects members across infinitSpace’s global network of flexible offices.
