Co-Space bolsters its regional roster with
new St Albans Site
NEWS / 6 DECEMBER 2024
Co-Space, a bold player in the regional flex market, has set its sights on St Albans. Charging ahead to deliver practical, efficient workspaces across the regions, the operator is now bringing a functional, design-led workspace to Hertfordshire's most picturesque city next Autumn.
Following the completion of their third site in Milton Keynes, Co-Space has announced the launch of their new site on St Albans’ Victoria Street, marking their fourth addition to the portfolio. Building on the momentum of flourishing sites in Reading, Stevenage and Milton Keynes, September 2025 will see the launch of Co-Space’s latest venture: a 28,000 sq ft marvel in the heart of Herts. Staying true to their design-led ethos, the new site will feature Co-Space’s signature blend of premium, functional coworking spaces and office solutions.
“We see more opportunity in regional locations than we do in trying to go and compete with huge, established operators already within Zones 1-4,” Co-Space’s CEO and Founder, William Stokes teased during a guest appearance on the Millennial Masters podcast, last month.
The workspace options range from cosy two-person offices to spacious rooms for up to 24 people. Tenants can kick back on two rooftop terraces, and with on-site parking, it's the perfect cherry on top. "We like markets that are untapped, St Albans is affluent, on the commuter belt, and needs a premium offering that will cater for businesses in the area," William noted.
Indeed, the purpose-driven operator continues its commitment to strategically locating sites near major transport links and local amenities, offering unmatched convenience. St Albans City is the perfect example of this – a short 19 mins from London Kings Cross.
Meanwhile, Co-Space is currently expanding its inaugural site in Stevenage, marking a key milestone in its regional growth strategy. Originally 16,000 sq ft when it opened in 2021, the workspace is now adding an impressive 7,500 sq ft. This expansion brings the total space to 23,500 sq ft, with the newly enlarged facility set to open in early 2025.
