Halkin locks in
32,773 sq ft at Mainframe, Euston

NEWS / 6 DECEMBER 2024

Hot off the success of King William Street's aesthetic, Halkin is stepping confidently into London’s Knowledge Quarter. Building on their momentum, the family-owned operator has unveiled its latest addition, securing 32,773 sq ft at Mainframe, Euston. This expansion marks Halkin’s first foray into the iconic area, where they will occupy the first three floors, joining a vibrant roster of tenants including 1Rebel, Gails, and Pizza Pilgrims.

Eurazeo, the leading global investment group, in collaboration with Arax Properties, has handpicked renowned flex operator Halkin to take over two-thirds of Mainframe. The acquisition of 24 Eversholt Street marks the operator’s ninth location, increasing their total number of office desks to over 5,000 across a whopping 345,000 sq ft of prime office space.

This historic landmark is set to reshape the area after undergoing a major revamp. As Freddie Bailey, Head of Sales at Halkin, puts it, “Mainframe will once again be a flagship for the flex market.” Redesigned by Hut Architecture, the building now boasts top-tier sustainability credentials, including WELL Platinum, EPC A, BREEAM Excellent, and WiredScore Platinum certifications.

Situated in a prime spot next to Euston station, Halkin is poised to launch in April 2025. The space will offer expansive breakout areas, cutting-edge coworking facilities, and a top-tier podcast studio—crafted with the same design-centric, amenity-rich philosophy that made their King William Street location a standout.

On breaking into one of London's most dynamic hubs, Jonathan Kingshott, Director at Halkin Offices, excitingly shared, “We’re very proud to announce the latest addition to the Halkin Offices portfolio,”. He continued, "Whilst a first for us in London's Knowledge Quarter, it is a good fit with our existing Portfolio and we are particularly excited about bringing our distinctive design-led serviced offices to the building and wider business community."

Having achieved 100% occupancy at King William Street within its first year, we have no doubt that Mainframe will follow suit.
